Venue
Garmisch-Partenkirchen is a small town in Bavaria, located about 100km south of Munich. It is beautifully situated in the Bavarian Alps, with Germany's highest mountain, the famous Zugspitze, nearby. The town is known as the site of the 1936 Winter Olympic Games, the first to include alpine skiing, and offers a broad variety of summer and winter sports activities.
Garmisch-Partenkirchen is best reached via Munich Airport and a subsequent 1.5 hour train ride from Munich Central Station.
